Next Generation Stem Cell Science

The NeoGenesis patented stem cell technology, known as S²RM® or stem cell released molecules, use adult human stem cells that are resident to the skin. There are different types of human stem cells, including embryonic stem cells and bone marrow stem cells along with many others. NeoGenesis only uses the stem cells found in the deep dermal layer and subcutaneous layer of the skin to form the basis of our stem cell released molecules. These are the stem cells that repair and maintain our skin throughout our entire life.

Through decades of research, we now know that multiple stem cell types coordinate their activities to release multiple distinct pools of stem cell released molecules (SRM). The multiple pools of molecules are known as S²RM®, meaning two or more types in these pools. The multiple pools act together synergistically to initiate and maintain the healing process. This is a natural stem cell process within our bodies that induces maintenance and healing effects.

This body of knowledge, coupled with advanced biotechnology techniques, is used to develop products that are biomimetic and induce homeostatic renormalization of the stem cell niche and the natural stem cell processes in the skin. In other words, we bring balance and correctly functioning cells back to the skin so it acts like it did when it was young and healthy.

NeoGenesis cultures the adult human stem cells so the stem cell released molecules are fully processed, formed, and released by the cell. This allows the S²RM® molecules to be complete, in their natural 3-dimensional form, and to be packaged into exosomes. The exosome is the body’s own protective nano-sphere (a “smart” liposome) that provides targeting and delivery characteristics to the S²RM®. The exosome provides protection, targeting, and delivery of the stem cell released molecules to the surrounding cells. The complete set of molecules, all of which are fully formed, work significantly better than the inferior technology that is often used, where malformed and incomplete sets of molecules are used to develop skin care products.  This can lead to no visible results, minor positive results, or worse yet, negative and unwanted results when these incomplete sets of molecules are used in topical skin care.
